There are many ways sex contributes and benefits your health and your sex life.
Today I’m going to talk about the benefits sex gives to the body. Please stay tuned.
1. Sex helps strengthen the immune system:
Sexually active people get sick less because the immune system is
strengthened by this pleasant activity and generates more antibodies than
someone who does not practice sex.
Our body is thus more protected against viruses, germs and other intruder.
An investigation on this showed that sex once or twice per week raises the
levels of certain antibodies compared to those who do so less frequently.
2. Sex reduces blood pressure:
Many studies have shown the association between good sex and lower blood
pressure. This in particular which maintain sex masturbation- not reduce
systolic blood pressure, the maximum voltage value when the heart contracts.
3. Sex increases libido:
Having sex frequently is very good for you because that sex is getting
better and also improve our libido.
For women in particular, the intimate relationships generate additional
vaginal lubrication, increased blood flow and improved elasticity.
4. Sex cancer:
For men, having sex makes them less likely to develop prostate cancer.
A study by the Journal of the American Medical Association, ejaculate at
least 21 times a month protects against cancer, so masturbation counts as ally.
6. Sex against stress:
Sex relieves stress in many ways. On the other hand, being close to your
spouse relaxes us, it reduces our anxiety and therefore stress.
Hugging, touching and kissing our mates makes us feel good, and that while
sex happens frees the brain chemical that speeds up the pleasure center of the
brain and reward.
In addition, sex increases self-esteem and happiness, another good
anti-stress prescription.
7. Sex is an exercise:
Although it cannot replace the bike, skates, a career, swimming or exercise
but it does count as exercise.
On average, we burn about 5 calories per minute, use various muscles of the
body and accelerate your heart rate, which makes us one healthy.
8. Sex pain:
Does it hurt anything?
Make love with your partner. Orgasm is able to block pain, according to a
study by the State University of New Jersey (USA), and a hormone that is
released (during orgasm) helps elevate the pain threshold.
The same study also noted that vaginal stimulation without orgasm in women
also blocked back pain, menstrual pain, arthritis and headaches.
9. Sex helps to rest:
After orgasm, the hormone prolactin, responsible for the drowsiness and
relaxation is released.
It is for this reason that after a sexual encounter we can fall asleep
faster than normal.
10. Sex reduce the risk of heart attack:
Being sexually active is good for your heart.
Sex not only increase our heart rate, but keep in balance our levels of
estrogen and testosterone.
The imbalance of these hormones causes, for example, osteoporosis. The more
often in sex has better relations.
Several studies have shown that keeping sex at least twice a week halves
the chances of dying from heart disease.
11. Sex improves the female bladder control:
Having a strong pelvic floor is important to prevent urinary incontinence,
a problem that affects about 30% of women at some point in their lives.
Having sex can be a very effective workout for the muscles in this area
because when women have an orgasm contraction of the pelvic floor muscles
occurs, which strengthens the area.
