TOP REASONS WHY GROUNDNUT IS GOOD FOR YOU






 Recent research at the State Cancer Institute has shown that eating 30 grams of natural groundnut at least once a week reduces three times the risk of breast cancer.
These are the reasons for you starts to add this super food to your diet.


1. They are natural source of Vitamin E:
Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps prevent coronary heart failure in humans and better metabolizes oxygen flowing through the bloodstream.

2. Contains B-sitosterol and resveratrol:
They are compounds that are normally found in plants, they protect the body function. However, it has been discovered that it inhibit the growth of cancer and protect the heart.

3. They contain good amount of fiber:
The dietary fiber intake helps control glucose levels in the blood, cholesterol and triglycerides in people with diabetes.

4. Containing Arginine:
Arginine is an amino acid to which it is known as the precursor of nitric oxide, which is a potent vasodilator that helps relax artery walls and inhibits platelet aggregation, preventing cardiovascular complications.

5. Low glycemic index
Foods with high glycemic indexes soar in the body and increases the production of insulin, which leads to reduced ability to produce insulin. The American Diabetes Association recommends that people with diabetes should consume foods with glycemic index below 50. Peanuts have a glycemic index 15, containing few carbohydrates, which are complex and have a high amount of fiber.

6. The fat is mostly monounsaturated and polyunsaturated:
80% of the fat in groundnuts is unsaturated fat. Unsaturated fats is considered healthier, help lower "bad" cholesterol and maintain high "good". They also help reduce cancer better than low-fat diets triglycerides.

7. They are a source of vegetable protein:
Its protein content is high. 30 grams of groundnut contains about 7 grams of protein, about the same amount containing an egg or the same amount of meat.

8. No cholesterol
Any plant product contains pigments which help reduce cholesterol. This is taken into the blood.

9. Good sources of folic acid:
Consumption of this food has effects on pregnant women and prevent the formation of the baby's nervous system. It also help prevent cancer and cardiovascular disease.
